The stamp does not specifically state that it is for the 2014 Sochi Olympics but many countries did not honor the winter Olympics because of exorbitant IOC licensing fees. An indication of this is that Canada is listed as the gold medal winner for ice hockey and Canada did win the gold in 2014.
