From the Winter 2024 issue of the "Journal of Sports Philately" author Gregg Redner states "The first reference to lacrosse in Canadian philately can be found on a cachet on a 1935 first flighty cover" and that 3500 covers were produced for the flights between Collins and Pickle Crow.
